About The Marlins
Welcome to our site!
The Woodlands Marlins Swim Team’s philosophy is to develop and enhance swimming
skills while building mental self-confidence and discipline. We focus on nurturing
healthy bodies, new friendships, good sportsmanship and team work.
As the one of the oldest teams in the area, the Marlins prides itself on developing young swimmers and having an enjoyable summer experience. Our small team size provides an opportunity for more individual attention from the coaches.
With our home at the state-of-the-art Conroe ISD Natatorium, we invite all swimmers to join our team, 4 to 18 years old. We also offer a convenient practice schedule to our busy families.
We believe swimming is an important life skill and provides an uncommon environment for our children to experience both personal growth and the ability to contribute to a team sport. Membership is not based on the swimming ability of the child -- only on the desire to swim and keep improving.
The Woodlands Marlins team is a member of the Northwest Aquatic League (NWAL) and the NWAL rules govern our meets. See www.nwal.org for a copy of the official NWAL rules.

What our parents are saying
"My kids have made lasting friendships and achieved some personal goals in summing, and ultimately had fun! We have met some lovely people...it's like a big family."
--Mindy, 15yo daughter and 18yo son, Marlins for 9 years
"I love the wonderful friendships that my children have made through the Marlins. My favorite memory is when they won divisionals in 2018, and how excited the kids were. They had fun throwing their coaches in the pool to celebrate!"
--Nicoli, 19yo and 21yo sons, Marlins for 6 years
"The Marlins are much more relaxed than year round swimming, and my daughter has made wonderful friendships here. I loved being an age group parent for the 6 and under girls. They were so much fun!"
--Heather, 12yo daughter, Marlins for 6 years
"I was so happy when my kids started and the coaches were so attentive to helping them get comfortable getting across the pool, then learning all the strokes. Now my kids beg for summer swim because they have so much fun with the coaches and their friends. We look forward to it every summer!"
--Jayme, 9yo daughter and 7yo son, Marlins for 4 years
